Our 911 call for Emilia!

Ok so Im going to make this story short...well, kind of. The girls were playing in their room while I was picking up a bit, Emilia starts crying, No biggie but something told me to check on her, Thank you Lord! As I get closer her cry starts sounding muffled (Is Bella pinning her down because Emi took a toy or something?) I fling open the door and there she is, crying and stuck...in a potty seat! Not just any potty seat, The one My Great uncle Babe made me when I was a little girl-there was no way I was getting her out, after a minute of panic and trying to contact my husband without any success, 911 I called! Hello, whats your emergency? 'My Daughters stuck in a potty chair!' 911 operator: Excuse me? Me: Yes, my daughter is stuck in an 'old' potty chair. 911 operator: ok ma'am, just try to keep her calm, help is on the way. Well, there I was stuck (no pun intended) waiting for the firemen to come and rescue poor emi. What should I do? hmmmmmm, how about call mom and break it to her that my prized potty chair that my dear great uncle Babe made me was possibly about to be destroyed? Check! Moms reply " Oh no, tell them to try to not completely ruin it and take pictures!" Of course the thought of snapping a few pics already passed through my mind, c'mon she was stuck in a potty! Do you know what kind of leverage this will give me when she's a teenager? So mom just set the thought in stone...and here are the resulting pictures and oh for those of you wondering, She is just fine, and so is the chair! It was seconds away from being cut to free Emi, but they got her out just in time! BTW on a side note, bella blurted out that I had taken pictures of my poor helpless daughter to the firemen after all was said and done! Thanks Bella! Love Ya!

Country Mouse Farm!

A good friend of mine had an awesome pic taken of her sweet little girl last year with not just live baby chicks, but dyed live baby chicks! It had to have been one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen, so since I have no creativity of my own, I just thought Id steal the idea...kind of ;) So I started my journey on trying to find some live baby chicks, I wasnt going to dye them though-I prefer the au natural look ;) The hunt was on, my options were pretty limited though seeing as how I had no means to actually care for a baby chick enough to keep it alive (them there chicks be some fragile lil things) So after thinking I was doomed, I did what any normal person would have done,...I posted on CL, I basically offered a rental fee where I would rent out some chicks for an hour or so and Jane doe could either let me take said chicks back to my property or to make it easier, we could just take the pictures right on their property...Please see resulting photos!

Bella Getting some Freshly laid eggs!
'Ohhhh Wonderful! these-these-these chickens are sooo nice and cute' quoted by Bella.

An amazing picture of the girls!

So by now you may be wondering 'wheres the chicks?' well folks, I dont think they saw the same vision I did for cute fluffy yellow chicks when they invited us to their farm, so here you go, enjoy!

Bella Holding a not so cute older chick

In all seriousness though, we had a blast and of course the girls did too, we got to take home some chicken and turkey eggs, and the people couldn't have been friendlier!
